I don’t know about you, but when I feel a yeast infection bout is coming, I don’t give it any chance to develop any further.
I immediately took my bottle of coconut oil from the refrigerator, and use it to stop the infection before it grows out of control.
Actually there are few ways to use coconut oil for yeast infection.
My Favorite one is to add few drops of coconut oil in a warm baht. That way I enjoy the bath, while making sure I remedy for the candida infection.
Another effective way is to apply this essential oil directly on your vaginal parts. Don’t worry it is really safe to do so.
Just Clean and dry the itching area, and then gently apply a few drops of coconut oil on there.
If you intend to use the latter method, then make sure that coconut oil is cold. That’s because you get an instant relief that way.
What causes yeast infections?
I thought it would make sense to talk a little about what causes candida overgrowth.
You see, inside the human body lives many type of bacteria, thankfully not all of them are harmful.
However, there is one type of bacteria, when it gets out of control it causes candida infection. This type of bacteria is called candida albicans.
There are certain circumstances that favor the growth of this bad bacteria including:
Taking antibiotics for a long period of time.
Wearing tight clothes that prevent air flow into the vagina area.
Eating too much sugar.
So adopting few lifestyle changes, will increase your chances to avoid yeast infection.
The aim of these lifestyle habits is to counteract the causes of yeast infections.
Such as, wearing loose cotton underwear, and refrain from eating foods that are rich in sugar.
